An Arab traveler who emigrated from his country after failing to marry his beloved, goes to Dar al-Jabal in search of the perfection and justice that is missing in his country. He is encouraged to do so by his teacher, who failed to complete the journey due to the war that was raging between neighboring countries. He passes through several countries on his journey, and his journey is interrupted more than once due to his marriage and imprisonment.
